Morocco will take on Gabon in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Adrar Stadium on Friday.
Morocco will be chasing their third straight win across all competitions and will be confident of extending that winning run. They are the hosts for the finals but will keep the momentum intact during these qualifiers.
Gabon is keen to book their spot in the AFCON, competing in a group alongside Lesotho and the Central African Republic. The Panthers, absent from the previous edition, have made nine tournament appearances, with their best showings being quarterfinal finishes in 1996 and 2012.
Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch, including TV channel, streaming details and more.

Tonight, Moroccan fans have a rendezvous as the Atlas Lions take the field for their first AFCON 2025 qualifier match.
Morocco’s national team will face Gabon in tonight’s match, with coach Walid Regragui determined that his squad should give their top performance.
“We must give our best and be more effective,” the coach said in a pre-match conference on Thursday, acknowledging that the game will not be easy.
The game, which will take place in Agadir’s Adrar Stadium at 8 p.m. local time, will allow fans from across the Souss Massa region to watch the Atlas Lions live.
Many Moroccans from other parts of the country are also taking to the road to watch the Atlas Lions.
For those who can’t make it in-person, you can watch the match on Morocco’s Arriadia television channel.
Qatari sports network beIN Sports 2 will also broadcast the match.
Coach Regragui said the match will be positive for the national team as it will allow him to try out new names and face teams that can “create problems for us in the future with their different playing styles.”
“The opponent is playing to qualify, which means it will not be an easy match,” he added.
Regragui announced his squad for the qualifier, with the list including goalkeeper Yassine Bounou as well as other renowned key players like Achraf Hakimi, Azzedine Ounahi, and Hakim ZIyech.
The game is set to be a decisive moment for Moroccan fans as the Atlas Lions begin their crucial qualifier journey.
Fans are eager to see a return to form after the disappointment of the previous AFCON, where Morocco was ousted early in the competition following a loss to South Africa.
In addition to Gabon, Morocco will also play another qualifier on September 9 against Lesotho.
This will be Morocco's first qualifying match. They are in a group with Gabon, Lesotho, and Central Africa. Morocco is the clear favorite in this group, and it seems certain they will secure their place in the Africa Cup of Nations. In the last Cup of Nations, Morocco was among the tournament's favorites but fell short of expectations. They accumulated seven points in the group stage but were eliminated by South Africa in the Round of 16 with a 0-2 defeat.
However, Morocco’s performance at the 2022 World Cup was extraordinary. They finished fourth overall, becoming the first African team to reach the semifinals and play in the third-place match. Moreover, their World Cup qualifying campaign is going smoothly, with three wins from three matches, placing them at the top of their group.
Gabon
Unlike Morocco, Gabon did not compete in the last Africa Cup of Nations. They earned ten points in the qualifiers, finishing three points shy of second place. In 2022, however, Gabon participated in the Cup of Nations, reaching the Round of 16 before being knocked out.
They also missed out on the most recent World Cup but are performing decently in qualifying for the next tournament. With nine points from four matches, Gabon holds second place in their group, two points ahead of their nearest challenger, and they have a realistic chance of advancing to the next stage.
